2025 Tri-Lakes Water Ski Lessons and Water Ski Show (Tri-Lakes Days):

🌊 Calling all water-loving families!

If you or your child(ren) are passionate about the water and eager to dive into the world of water sports, we have an amazing opportunity waiting for you right in your local community on Lake Jane!

🗓 When, Where, What:

Join us, fellow members of the Tri-Lakes community, every Tuesday and Wednesday evening, starting July 8th, 2025, from 6:30 pm until dusk, for water skiing sessions. We cater to all skill levels, from the youngest adventurers on the skimmer to seasoned pros. The only gear needed is your own life jacket; all other water sports equipment is provided. All practices and our water ski show take place at 9125 Jane Trail North, Lake Jane, Lake Elmo, MN 55042. (Check out our 2025 Ski Practice Calendar and Tri-Lakes Water Ski details!)

🎉 And the best part?

It's all leading up to our family-orientated water ski show (known as Tri-Lakes Days) on August 16th, 2025, where you and your family can showcase your newfound skills and celebrate together. The show starts at 3 pm with Post Show Fun: Food Trucks, Games for kids, Waterslide, & Live Band at 6:00 pm!

📝 Registration and Cost:

Participation is affordable, with a fee of just $50 per person for Tri-Lakes members and $65 for non-members. Registering is simple – just fill out the form below and make your payment (don't forget to update your dues if needed).

⛑ Safety First and Volunteer Opportunities:

The safety of our skiers is important. With active parental or guardian involvement and supervision during each practice, we ensure a secure environment for all participants. Plus, there are plenty of opportunities for volunteers to join in the fun and contribute throughout the season!

Volunteer Roles: Which one or ones would you be interested in helping out with? *

BOAT COORDINATOR - Assign spotters to each of the boats. Coordinate driver absences. Keep track of who drives each week so that they get reimbursed at the end of the season. Submit total to treasurer of nights driven by boat driver.

ONSHORE COORDINATOR -Take attendance at the start of the evening. Announce specific acts so that participants are ready. Help them get the equipment ready. Monitor participants are practicing safety expectations.

WATER LEADER - This person is in the water most of the night. Get ropes the skiers in the water and transfer them to the boats. Collect ropes after each water ski act and get them to the rope wrangler.

SKI INSTRUCTORS - This person is in the water most of the night. Teach new skills (skimmer, skiing, etc.). Observe which acts are doing well and what needs help. Introduce new acts to the show and lead onshore practice Set priorities for practice.

EQUIPMENT MANAGER - Inventory Equipment and provide maintenance to the equipment during the season. Propose purchases of new equipment if needed. Keep the trailer organized. Discard unused equipment. Call port-a-potty company when Biffy needs emptying.

ROPE WRANGLER - Ensure everyone has the correct ropes.Teach others how to tie/roll ropes and have them ready. Monitor the dock to prevent kids from playing on it. Clean the sand off the dock at the end of the night.

PIZZA COORDINATOR -Wednesday Nights - Help participants practice bows closer to the show.

SKI SHOW ACT PLANNERS - During practices, ask participant groups what songs & costumes they would like.Help secure costumes during season & help organize acts, drivers, costumes & songs. Help participants get into their costumes on the day of the show.

Safety is our top priority for the children in our program. With active parent/guardian involvement and supervision during each practice, we maintain a secure environment for everyone involved. Moreover, there are plenty of volunteer opportunities available throughout the season for you to join in and contribute to the fun!

Tri-Lakes Ski Lessons Waiver Form 2025 Season

I, the undersigned, give permission for the listed registrants to participate in the Tri-Lakes Association ski lesson and ski show program. I understand that such activities are carried on under assumed risks for participants in regard to any and all incurred injuries in the program. Therefore, I do hereby waive any and all claims that I have or hereafter may have against the instructors, aides, host family, boat drivers, Tri-Lakes Improvement Association, its officers and members, for injuries suffered by me or my child(ren) as a result of participating in this program. 2025 Season.
